Full day Glaciar Perito Moreno (Argentina) - Tour 365

Extensive but comforting excursion that takes place mostly in the territory of the Argentine Republic, specifically with the objective of Los Glaciares National Park. The minibus starts picking up passengers in their respective accommodations in Puerto Natales from 06:30 hrs to cross early at the border crossing of Villa Cerro Castillo.

Although the road is extensive and monotonous, this tour has a high level of satisfaction in the clients who decide to do so, since they manage to visualize from one of the most impressive glaciers of the Southern Ice Field. Around noon you pass through the beautiful tourist town of El Calafate, the service center of the Argentine glacier. There, a guide certified by the park joins the mobile to tell us in the last section (80 km to the glacier) about the history, geomorphology and glaciology of the place to visit.

Once in the park we will access the so-called “walkways”, which are corridors with balconies and viewpoints to observe the glacier from different angles and heights. Passengers will also have the option of acquiring a navigation ticket (one hour long) to better appreciate the height of the front wall that reaches 60 meters in sectors.

It is essential to bring Argentine money from Puerto Natales in cash for the payment of admission to the park, just as if you want to take optional navigation and for food. The return to the city of Puerto Natales is estimated around 22:00 hrs.

- You cannot cross the border with perishable food, therefore it is recommended to bring Argentine pesos to buy food both in the glacier and in the city of El Calafate.

- Check the validity of your identification document before booking this excursion, as well as any judicial inconvenience that may prevent you from leaving the country.

- Minors require a birth certificate (apart from the current ID) to leave the country with both parents. If one of them is missing, you must have the corresponding notarial authorization, or death certificate as appropriate.
